So it's been quite a while since I've posted anything. Working for UPS during the holiday season is a little crazy as we are "Santa Claus." So in November it was my birthday. My mom and dad took me to Maui for a very much needed vacation. They built a beautiful Ohana on my brother's property there. It overlooks "Jaws" the surf zone with some of the largest waves surfed by man. The house is located just outside of Pai'a and at the start of the road to Hana. The house has two master bedrooms and baths and an open concept kitchen and living room. The bedroom I got overlooks the volcano, Haleakala. To say peaceful is an understatement. The house is available for people to rent for staycations and sleeps six people.
So I tried to keep up with photographs of the places and things we did. We were taking care of my nieces and nephew while my brother and sister-in-law flew back to Washington state to attend the Seahawks games. Since the kids were in school, we would spend the first half of the day traveling around Maui and the second shuttling kids to various sports and events.
The first day we drove to the West Maui Mountains.
