I'd been looking to participate in a styled shoot workshop for quite some time, but had no luck finding one that fit with my budget or schedule. One day on facebook, I saw some horse trainer friends of mine had had their photos done and I was curious as to the photographer that did it. Frit Fru Photography had done a great job and from their website I discovered a workshop they were hosting the next week at Snoqualmie Falls. I jumped in with both feet.
I'd not only never done a workshop, but I'd never been to Snoqualmie Falls. We were so lucky as to have gotten access to the privately owned side of the falls and got to see the waterfalls that no one sees from the lookouts on the north side of the falls. The weather was perfect and we just couldn't have asked for a better group of models, hosts, and fellow photographers.
Closer to the golden hour, we all hiked out and proceeded to a hay field not far from the falls along the Snoqualmie River. Our hostess has set up a beautifully decorated table and other settings to shoot in the trees and field...
After getting some detailed shots, we got the cake shots and then moved into the field just as the sun was setting through the trees.... a perfect evening...
