Meet the White Family

Today is the first day in five days I've been able to even look at my computer without running away screaming in pain. I've suffered migraines for years and am usually able to function with them. I've been to every kind of doctor out there and should probably glow in the dark from all the tests. This time I was so incredibly sick that I had to go to the ER. For once, the doctor listened to me and actually instantly diagnosed exactly what was wrong...after a very painful shot in the tukus and some anti nausea meds...I was sent home to recover. Where I had to give myself shots for another 4 days in the same area. What gets me is that when I told the doctors that the vials they gave me didn't come with needles, they couldn't figure out how to get needles. I solved it by raiding my Vet box in my barn and getting needles from there. Yeah...the good old vet box!

So that being said, today I've spent all day trying to play catch up on the editing for all the photo shoots I've been doing. Luckily I have the most amazing clients and friends and family. So I did this newborn hospital shoot for my really good friend, Jacinda White and her husband and their newborn baby, Ryden White. I did this shoot back in May in the NICU at Seattle Children's Hospital. I wanted to make Ryden's hospital stay as normal as possible. It's so hard to see your baby hooked up to machines, but he's doing so amazing and I hope his mom and dad like these...I can't wait to see how he grows up. I'm sure he's going to be just like his mom and bring home every stray she would find...
